12-2-2020 This was my first visit to the salon and I am delighted with my 'new' hair. I had so many compliments from people, they all loved it. John gave me a new style which is easy to maintain as I am naturally curly, no need to straighten my hair anymore. I bought the rotating hairdryer and its easy and quick.I am super please too with the colour thanks to Edward. One very happy customer indeed. xx

You are made to feel 'part of the family' each visit and walk out feeling like a million dollars with an amazing hair cut every time.
John makes it very clear that even if the salon is manically busy, the only person who he has time for when you are sat in front of him is you and I have had the same quality hair cut/colouring each and every visit for the many years I have now been visiting.
I have been to other salons in the past where the first cut was always great and then after that it was as if you didn't matter and it never looked as good as the first time - I used to hate going to hairdressers as it seemed such a 'waste of time for a necessity' . In contrast John gives me such a great haircut and the atmosphere is so fun and relaxed, I actually look forward to my appointments here!
I have also received such sound advice re taking care of my hair in between appointments and I have seen its condition improve because of John's advice.
I thank my lucky stars John and Edward moved to Dorchester :) -

First visit today, all I can say is brilliant, Amazing haircut by Edward, feel like a new woman !! Hubby says it makes me look refreshed and younger !! Cheeky devil lol. John, I love you! From the minute I stepped in to the salon to the moment I left, I felt welcome, happy and comfortable. John gave me the confidence to go for a new style with my curly hair and, as any curly person will know, this can take some courage! Em was fab, a great hostess and a dab hand at head massage. After my shampoo, treatment and massage I was handed over to John, who was just as excited for my new do as I was! He chatted so easily, was such fun and I felt that he really cared about how I felt about my hair. He gave me great haircare advice, and appeared to enjoy every second of his work. I was sad to leave, but I'm already counting down the days to my return, and can't wait for my next hour in the most fantastic salon in town!

Well where do I start with this salon! My hair is thick, coarse, curly and unruly. Ive fought with it for years and never found a hairdresser who has handled it to the extent that John has!
I wish I had found them years and years and years ago as now I am happy at last with my hair. Not only that the atmosphere within the salon is GREAT! Its welcoming, comfortable, enjoyable and fun and all the people within are like a little family who are so genuine! They have time for you in a way that I have never felt before in any hairdressers! It is a top high class salon in every way.

As a girl with difficult curly hair I have dreaded going to the hairdressers and have never left happy with the cut...until now. This is the first time in my life I have walked away with a huge smile ear to ear! Edward was wonderful. He listened to what I wanted and gave me a new look which far exceeded my expections. I'm also grateful to John for the initial consultation and for giving me the confidence to go for a new style. I will definitely be back and cannot recommend highly enough. Edward is an incredible talent, he’s up there with the top 1% of colourists and I’m so glad I’ve found him.
Many years of directing hair commercials gave me access to the very best colourists in the country and even though I live in Dorset I still headed back to Mayfair for my cut and colour as I wasn’t
prepared to relinquish the level of expertise that delivered my intricate weave of highlights.
…and then I found Edward.
His skill for creating a perfect, beautifully natural colour is on a par with the top colour salons in London. I think he's brilliant. x -

I recently moved from Kent to Dorset – and I was very pleased to have John recommended to me by a great friend, particularly as both of us have hard to manage hair.
I was so attached to my lovely hairdresser of many years in my local market town of Faversham, so it was with some trepidation that I went to John for the first time for a cut and colour.
I was NOT disappointed. What a brilliant result – and what lovely guys these two are. They will put you at your ease, cheer you up, pay complete attention to what you ask them, be patient and
professional – and manage to make you feel like a friend. And Blade is a great asset to the salon. To watch them training and supporting and winding him up(!) is very entertaining.
This is one happy customer – and I’ve been back since (for quite a radical reshape!) and I now consider John my stylist, no question.
Go to this salon – you won’t be disappointed! -
I love Ed, who i regard as a hair artist, not yout average dresser! He must have been cutting and styling my hair for over a year now and he manages to turn my thick, dead straight and short hair
into a work of art every time. I'd never thought that a lot could be done with my hair, but his experience and creativity proved me wrong. As a plus, there hasn't been a dull moment in his, John and
Blade's company. Highly recommend them! -

To be honest I never thought I would be writing about a hairdresser but there is always a first time for everything..
I went for a consultation with John as my hair was a disgrace, the colour was awful and the cut was just as bad, John spent ages chatting and discussing how he could correct this so I mad an
appointment and the following week I headed off to get my hair done crossing my fingers and feeling sick at the same time.. from the moment I walked in the guys mad me feel at ease, John talked
through every step that he was going to do bit by bit. nothing was to much trouble for him. when he finished I looked in that mirror and burst out crying not because it was horrible but because I
have never seen my hair look so good, John is my angel, he is fantastic at what he does and I can not thank him enough... Girls you want your hair done go see the guys !!!!! you will not find better
anywhere else and that I can promise you.. I am back to see John in eight weeks time and am looking forward to having my hair done again and that is something I never thought I would say... Love you

I have always struggled with my thick hair, but was so pleased with the cut by John. Indeed, this is the best cut I have ever had. I was worried if I would be able to manage to style it myself, but I
need not have worried, as John gave me lots of styling tips and my hair looks great. I have had many compliments about both the style and the cut. I wish I'd found this Salon before - highly

Had my hair cut, coloured and styled here for the first time today and John was the stylist. Really pleased with the result and feel I look much younger. John also gave me some great tips on how to
blow dry my new hair style to get the best effects. Excellent customer service, friendly team and reasonable prices. I've already made my next appointment. -
Having been in last weekend to have my hair cur and being so impressed I returned today with my fourteen year old daughter. She has very curly hair , prone to being frizzy. John has cut her hair
beautifully and took the time to explain to her how best to manage the dreaded frizz!! Blade then diffused her hair and the end result was amazing. She is so happy with it and loved the experience.

Had my hair cut and coloured by John and WOW what a transformation. Everyone I have seen has complimented me. Made an appointment after my Mum recommended him. Went in with an open mind and medium
length hair and came out with an inverted bob with 3 shades of pink running through! Really enjoyed my visit. Great haircut in a great atmosphere. -

Having had my hair cut by John since practically the time they moved to Dorchester, each time is as brilliant as the last.. and, as I had a do to go to on Friday I went in for John to \'titivate\' it
as nothing beats John\'s expert hands! Needless to say compliments abounded during the evening and I had a wonderful time John - thank you :).
Both John and Edward are wonderful fun and I always leave feeling on a high from not only their company but knowing that my hair looks a million dollars.
Before finding John and Edward I always saw getting my hair cut as a \'job which needed to be done\' - now I look forward to my regular visit to their salon because it really is an experience that

something special about a salon that is clearly a cut above the rest! Just recently John has worked his "Magic" again with the cut and colour he has given me. I am so so SO pleased! There are
"Oceans" of hairdressers out there but I am sure all you fellow clients would agree that what we all feel for the J.E.S. must be "True Love"!! So please John and Ed don't ever let your salon fall

When I first went to John Edwards my very bleached hair was so dry and in such bad condition! After my first cut and highlights with John last year the condition of my hair improved instantly and now
I wouldn't go anywhere else! My hair feels so much healthier and my highlights are a lovely creamy blonde (no longer the horrible yellow blonde it had been turned into by other hairdressers). John
and Edward both know exactly what is best for people's hair and what style will suit them and John, Edward and Chelsea are always chatty, friendly and entertaining. The first salon I can honestly say

new person. You can sink back in the chair and know that you are in very safe and highly experienced hands. Having trained at Vidal Sassoon and worked all over the world, there is not much that
Edward doesn’t know about hair. Both John and Edward are great fun and an appointment at the salon is a lovely sociable experience, chatting to both of them and the other customers. Highly
